I received my contract today. Here is some of the benefits and privileges just for summer:
1. Free tuition each semester up to four credits

7. Entertainment, cultural, and athletic events
8. Use of facilities in the Hart Building (Fitness center, pool, etc)
9. Industrial compensation insurance
10. Private office
11. Keys to the department and building
Part-time Faculty
Pay: $700 per credit
Credits: 11.8
Total pay: $8,260
Classes teaching:
Geology 101 Sections 3, 4, 5
Geology 102 Sections 10, 11, 12, 13

11.8 credits, huh? How does that work out? Now that you're faculty, do you automatically get promoted to guitars-unplugged-god status? Are my jokes getting less and less funny? Yes.
